Experience and Required Skills
ABA-approved paralegal studies preferred, but not required.
Minimum of five years’ related litigation experience and/or training.
Must have extensive knowledge of Texas Civil Rules of Procedure, Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Rules of Evidence, and Texas Rules of Court-Local, including knowledge of docketing critical dates.
Prior law firm experience is strongly preferred.
Ability to type accurately; ability to use office equipment such as computers, copier, and scanner.
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
High level of time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
Self-motivated, ability to work with minimal supervision.
