About the Role

Customer Interaction: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, listen to their concerns, and accurately document service requests.
Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate service appointments based on availability, technician schedules, and customer preferences.
Vehicle Intake: Collect relevant information about customers' vehicles, including make, model, year, mileage, and service history.
Service Estimation: Provide customers with accurate estimates for necessary repairs or maintenance based on assessment and consultation with technicians.
Communication: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles, including any delays or additional repairs identified during the service process.
Upselling: Identify opportunities to recommend additional services or products that may benefit customers based on their vehicle's needs and manufacturer recommendations.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, estimates, invoices, and payments.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that customers are satisfied with the service they receive by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with service technicians, parts department, and other staff members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery.
Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative duties, such as answering phones, filing paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.



  • Previous Experience: Proven experience in a customer service role within the automotive/trucking industry is preferred.

  • Automotive Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle systems, maintenance requirements, and repair procedures is advantageous.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and internal team members.

  • Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

  • Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using computer software for scheduling appointments, generating estimates, and maintaining records (experience with automotive service management software is a plus).

  • Customer Focus: Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to quickly assess situations, identify solutions, and address customer concerns or challenges.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules in a fast-paced environment.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in automotive technology or customer service is a plus.
