About the Role
Production Support Coordinator - Machine Shop
The Production Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability in data entry, inventory management, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management
Conduct regular inventory checks of finished goods.
Manage and maintain an accurate record of inventory levels.
Production Data Entry
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry to reflect production status.
Audit process sheets for review, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Report any discrepancies or anomalies found during the audit.
Generate and process maintenance work orders as required.
Track and follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion.
Post and update key performance metrics for the machine shop.
Ensure data is accurate and displayed in an accessible format.
Administrative Support:
Handle general filing and organization of documents.
Log test bars and manage job folders as needed.
anage office supplies, including inventory and ordering.
Maintain and update various spreadsheets including: Daily count, attendance, operator efficiencies, 90-day efficiency, machine shop downtime reporting, test bar tracking, forklift inspection, and machine shop assets with a schedule.
Generate and analyze order extract reports.
Highlight Material Requirement Changes (MRCs) for further review and action
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus.
Previous experience in administrative roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
