Job Summary
Our client is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join their growing property management team in beautiful Big Sky, Montana. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and helping prospective residents find a place to call home.
As the first point of contact for future residents, you'll play a key role in showcasing the community, managing the leasing process, and ensuring a positive resident experience from the first tour through move-in. Key Responsibilities
Greet prospective residents and provide professional property tours.
Respond promptly to phone, email, and online leasing inquiries.
Explain lease terms, community amenities, and pricing.
Guide applicants through the leasing process from application to move-in.
Maintain accurate records within the property management system.
Follow up with prospective residents to maximize occupancy.
Prepare lease agreements and related documentation.
Coordinate move-in appointments and resident orientations.
Assist with lease renewals and resident retention initiatives.
Maintain a welcoming and professional leasing office.
Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to ensure apartment readiness.
Participate in local marketing events and community outreach as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous leasing, apartment management, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and property management software such as Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, AppFolio, or similar platforms.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work occasional weekends based on leasing traffic.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of multifamily leasing experience.
Experience achieving occupancy and leasing goals.
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
