About the Role
Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support electrical maintenance and troubleshooting within a high-volume manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for maintaining production equipment, reducing unplanned downtime, and ensuring safe, reliable plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance
Diagnose and repair industrial electrical systems, motors, control panels, and production equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
Troubleshoot electrical faults using schematics and diagnostic equipment.
Production Support
Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production interruptions.
Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery.
Partner with mechanical maintenance and production personnel.
Safety & Documentation
Follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records.
Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, motor controls, and industrial wiring.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Experience using multimeters and electrical diagnostic equipment.
Ability to work assigned shifts and occasional overtime.
Additional Qualifications
Technical certification or electrical apprenticeship preferred.
PLC troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens systems.
Experience with VFDs, sensors, and automated manufacturing equipment.
