About the Role
Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Distribution Manager to oversee warehouse and distribution operations across multiple facilities in the Southeastern United States.
This position is responsible for operational performance, transportation efficiency, inventory accuracy, workforce development, and customer service across the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Operations
Oversee daily distribution operations across multiple warehouse facilities.
Establish operational KPIs for productivity, accuracy, safety, and service.
Standardize warehouse procedures and operating practices.
Financial Management
Develop operating budgets and monitor regional expenses.
Identify opportunities to improve labor productivity and transportation costs.
Analyze distribution performance and implement corrective actions.
Leadership & Development
Lead warehouse managers, supervisors, and operational teams.
Develop succession plans and leadership training programs.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Supply Chain Coordination
Partner with Transportation, Procurement, Inventory, and Customer Service teams.
Improve delivery performance and order fulfillment accuracy.
Support facility expansions and operational improvement projects.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
7+ years of distribution or warehouse operations experience.
3+ years of multi-site management experience.
Strong financial and operational management skills.
Experience with WMS, ERP, and warehouse productivity systems.
Proven ability to lead large operational teams.
Additional Qualifications
Experience with high-volume distribution or third-party logistics.
Lean Six Sigma or supply chain certification preferred.
Ability to travel 40–50% throughout the assigned region.
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and warehouse safety practices.
