Job Summary


Our client is seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join its corporate finance team. This role is responsible for supporting strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis, and executive decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights that drive profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting and budgeting processes.

  • Prepare financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives.

  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve profitability.

  • Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and management reports for senior leadership.

  • Partner with department leaders to monitor budgets and provide financial guidance.

  • Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results against budget and forecast.

  • Evaluate capital investments, operational initiatives, and growth opportunities through financial modeling.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.

  • Support long-range financial planning and annual operating plans.

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and operational efficiency.

  • Present financial findings and recommendations to executive leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or financial analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, Master's degree in Finance, or CPA/CMA designation.

  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.

  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, retail, or industrial industries.

  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or strategic growth initiatives.

  • Knowledge of GAAP and corporate financial reporting standards.
